I was just eight years old watching my mom at the Israeli Broadcasting Authority recording her programs, and I’m totally mesmerized. For me, that studio wasn’t just a studio; it was a doorway for the rest of the world. That’s where the fever started, and honestly, it never left me. It got fueled with my introduction to WBLS and to late-night DJs like Vaughan Harper and Champagne in New York City in the early 80s.
East to West isn’t a business. It’s a passion project. It’s a late-night hobby that I do for the pure pleasure of sharing a vibration with you. There’s no hidden agenda here, no monetary drive, just desire to give back what music has given to me.
